    My 369 is now two-tone!

I sent my cylinder to Robar to be coated with NP3 because it was so susceptible to rusting, even if it was well oiled. It took them about 5 weeks to get it back to me and it cost just under $76 with 2nd day air return shipping (I sent it priority). They blasted it before coating it and as you can see it is dull grey. They guarantee against rust, corrosion, peeling, chipping, etc forever, so I shouldn't have to worry about it now. I didn't know if I'd like the two-tone look but it's growing on me.
    What do you guys think?

I like it, it looks sharp. You have a lot of cash tied up in it, but it sure is a neat, unique gun.

Cool. I'm normally indifferent to two-tone guns, but that looks nice. I'll be really interested to hear how it wears over time.

That NP3 coating is one of the best. I have a 1911 that I had the entire gun NP3'd and after 12-15,000 rounds its still going strong. It also makes the gun really easy to clean. Great looking gun, I just recently bought a S&W 642.

LG-105. I like the way the look and the fit/feel, they retain the original frame ergonomics so the gun points well. They do not have an on-off switch like the others and cost less. I think I paid around $165 from an ebay store.

Very nice looking. I'm not much of a revolver guy but if that was sitting in my dealer's case, I may have to start wheeling & dealing.

    That looks really neat! Seriously.

Let us know if the fouling cleans up any easier off the face of the cylinder with that coating.
