I love my PT1911. Straight shooter and ultra reliable. It has eaten every type of ammo I've thrown at it. Easy to carry and conceal.
Only thing I have changed on it was a replacement guide rod (mine bent) and a set of Hogue wrap-around grips.

It has a lot of popular features and a lot of people will flame me for this, but IMO, the build quality just isnt there. Everything on it feels cheap to me.

I got mine a few weeks ago. Only have shot it once - but so far so good - can't complain! Going to shoot it some more this weekend (as long as weather is good) and will have more comments then. But the 50 rounds I put through it so far were good.

I have one and haven't had any problems with it. Have put around 500 rounds through it so far. Only thing I didn't like was the Hiene straight 8 sights, which I had changed out.

I love mine. I have the stainless with the tach rail. Between the weight of the gun plus my tlr1 light it handles great

Mine is great, it goes bang when I pull the trigger and the rounds go where I aim (if I do my part), what more could I ask for.

I must have gotten one made on a good day.
With Taurus, at times, it seems like hit-n-miss with QA. So far, I have hit good ones on both I own and am quite satisfied with performance, fit, looks and ergonomics. I have even become proficient with the straight-8 sights on the PT1911.
