congrats! Now you need to decide which holster you are going to order!

You did the right thing buying a G23. You can make it that much better by adding tritium night sights. I've added them to my G26. At night they work really well in limited lighting.
I found the stock G26 sights were adequate for daytime lighting. During evening hours they had their limitations. Still, you made the right decision buying the G23.

Yessir, I'm already checking the possibles The guy who sold me the 23 carries a 27 in a Blackhawk holster with some sort of locking mechanism in it. That seemed like a really good rig to me.

Well, I think the G23 is a good choice! I've said it before & I'll say it again...the Glock 19 & 23 are just hard to beat for CCW!

I've had my G-23 for about 10 or 11 years now. The only thing I need to do is it's getting time to replace the springs and will probably get new tritium night sights. The ones which came with mine are starting to fade and I'm wanting to upgrade to XS Big Dot tritiums.
That gun is more than capable of handling any situation you might face in regards to power, reliability and magazine capacity!
Great choice! It's doubtful you'll regret it!
