P95, Thanks for the offer, Shells not an issue , Actuaaly just loaded up 1000 rounds this afternoon. Once i get the 220 i will order leather for it . while the leather is being made i will shoot it every other day for a 200 round series working on a combination of aimed slow fire & progressing to full IDPA scenarios. I do this with any new firearm , 1 reason is to make sure it is 100% reliable & the other is so am 100% familiar with it before I carry it as a Self defense weapon. The last thing you want to do is Need a firearm & be carrying something you are not 100% familiar with.

I have been told it takes 1000 draws from leather to get proficent with a new weapon, I also will fire atleast 2000 rounds thru it. If it handles this without a FTF or FTE then it will make it to a carry piece . Then I will spend a month carrying it 12 hoursa a day. If it passes these tests it will get a home in my Safe for god. So far only 6 pistols have succeeded..

    1911 springer in 9mm
    1911 Kimber
Custom 1911 built on Caspian Frame with a STI slide in 9mm
    Browning Hi Power
HK USP 45 ( to big for CC in my opinion)
SW 38 Chiefs special. ( Great back Up Gun.)

I currently am also playing with a Taurus PT140 I use as a BUG so far it seems like a great little pistol, I only have about 1000 rounds thru it but it has ran flawlessly & other then the DA trigger ( which will keep it from being a primary carry weapon) I really like this piece.

Thanks all & I will be checking around this week for a 220.
Stupidity cannot be cured with money, or through education, or by legislation. Stupidity is not a sin, the victim can't help being stupid. But stupidity is the only universal capital crime; the sentence is death, there is no appeal and execution is carried out automatically and without pity.

If you're one of the folks who has the older Sig rusting problem, Midway sells an aerosol spray that I've been using for years. It stopped the slide problem cold for me, and I'm one of the people who can corrode stainless and make it rust.

Pricewise, anything around $500 and up is standard - think we have a 220R with night sights in around $540.

Hey Old Dawg I completely agree on your "combat weapons" choices, cept now days I'll add a G17/19 to the list (with Chuck Taylors going over half a million and still kicking I'm impressed).

Hey Cris, since my arm is banged up and I need to practice with my left hand can I get the offer on the 220 and case of ammo? (Ohh wait it is my left arm thats banged up, dang but I tried).

The wing is on the mend and doc says if physical therapy goes well he hopes not surgery. So far so good, I can actually put on my t-shirt holster and kinda sorta get into a two hand grip (I pray that I dont have to pop the 340PD with one hand). But dang I still wana try the 220 (oh did I tell you I have several CASES of 357Sig sitting (quietly) in my closet?
