Pick up and "Feel" the grips. You'll choose the H&K every time. Both are Equally dependable. H&K offer more carry choices, Glock costs less money. What ever you decide will be "The Best". I've owned 6 different Glocks. Wound up selling them. Just couldn't warm up to the feel of the grip. They all shot good just felt like a block of wood in my hand and when I grabbed the grip "naturally" they pointed up an to the right. My H&K USP Compact is comparable to the Glock 19 in dimensions, but has a very comfortable grip. If you are looking for a "Safe Action" gun with a nice grip, check out the Springfield XD.

    Good Luck!!!

Love my HK's. They both shoot well, and never had any problems. Shot my dad's glock and hated it. My opinion is the HK and the P2K is a great gun.

    I got both.
Daily carry is the P2K but I'm starting to put much range time with a Glock.

My wife-to-be has the HK P2000 V3 as her daily carry. It was the only pistol out of 30-some at the shop which fit her hands. Hers are small, but it fits my hands equally, and they are big - it comes with four different sized backstraps.

When I started looking for my first concealed Carry gun I had a open mind to any of what I considered extremely reliable. Glock being one. Than I picked up my HKP2000 it came home with me that day. It was one of many I looked at in about a three week search.

For another option if price is a consideration. I also own a Taurus 24/7. It is totally reliable, several thousand rounds of various ammo without a hiccup), feels great in hand, Has a unique "second chance" trigger, and costs around $400.00.

Glock 19 can't be beat for the price and why would you pay more for basically the same weapon. I personally wouldn't put the Taurus in the same Category. Not a taurus hater(everyone calm down). I own 2 taurus guns(one is at taurus now getting repaired), they are ok just not up to the glock standards.

As far as feel, I like the glock over all the others, seems the grip feels the best to me.

Glock cost less...is just as reliable...has more readily available parts and accessories...and will leave you more money for practice ammo and a carry rig. GO GLOCK 19...you will be very happy.

I'm not a huge fan of HK, mainly because of the cost vs. value factor. They also have a horrible trigger when compared to other guns in the same price bracket.

I do like the design, balance and general feel of the HK's though.

I think the G19 has it all over the HK for a carry gun.

Glock 23 (40 S&W), and then get yourself a drop in 9mm barrel. Two guns in one....voila.
