Glock with XS Big Dot front sight???

Has anyone tried a Big Dot front sight with the stock Glock rear sight?
I have a G19 and G21. I like the stock rear sights, was thinking I would like to replace the front sight on the G19. I have a set on my EDC XD45c and like them now that im getting used to the vertical alignment. Dont know if the XS front is taller than the stock front?
XD45c and G19...Because I can and this is still America at least for a little while longer.
Food for thought - If con is the opposite of pro, is Congress the opposite of progress?
    Any mouse-flavored cat food?
Only in America do they have drive-up ATM machines with Braille lettering.

I do believe that XS Big Dot sight is slightly taller than the factory front sight. What I would do is to go ahead and try it and see if the point of impact will change any. If it does than simply have the factory rear sight replaced with the XS matching rear sight. Go ahead and purchase the complete sight kit from XS, that way you will have the rear sight should you need it, otherwise you could always sell it on Ebay.
    God bless our troops!

The front sight IS taller, and more importantly, the point of index on the front sight is different. You gear from the bottom of the dot rather than the top of the post. Without the little line I'm not sure how they would index either.

I would encourage you to look at Meps or Trijicons, or even Warren sight, Dawson--something other than XS. Everyone I know that has tried them has gone back to something else. It's like trying to shoot with Rosie O'Donnel sitting on your slide.
