    Grip width ?

Which is wider the Sig 220 or Glock 21?? I am confused as glocks website says they are 1.27in and Sigs has a 1.50 width listed but doesnt clarify if that's slide or grip. Can someon please tell me which is wider? Is there a substantial difference??

I think more than width, the backstrap to trigger is a more important measurement. Small changes in that can make the gun feel completely different. As to your original question, I can't really answer it.

Don't know about the Sig, but my G21 is 1" in the slide and 11/4 at the widest part of the grip.

I'll go along with C9H13NO3 in that the bigger issue is the distance from backstrap to trigger. I have relatively short fingers. I do well with the G21 but have a hard time with some with more slender grips because of that measure.

I would say the G21 is wider in the grip by far. I had a G21, and I now have a SIG P220. I had to actually get a grip sleeve for my P220 to fit me well. The SIG is a single stack 45acp. The Glock large frame is designed for double stack magazines. I couldn't tell you about the SF models.
