    Had a BAER for lunch

I was lucky today I had to go an hour away for work today and stopped in at an indoor range on the way back for my lunch break. I recently installed a .140 rear non iluminated 10-8 sight that I love. Makes the whole front sight easily obtainable with poor eyes like mine. Brought 300 rounds of mixed ammo, all ball and had NO MALFUNCTIONS what so ever. All went where they were supposed to. Ill upload a picture of the target. Had no fliers at about 9 yards so I sent the target out to about 15 yards and left it. Practiced point shooting at the non gun hand and head, 1 hand shooting and just plain old controlled rapid...ish strings of fire to the body and head.

Gotta say- my main carry piece is all the 1911 I need

Picture of target was when I was closing up and bringing target in closer.

Just need a Baer Stinger for summer carry....one day anyways

Nice shooting with a great pistol.

What is that style? 25 CoM and 20 H?

Yead :) 25 to 20 works for me!!!

I grew up shooting at running squirls in the woods and a range is strange for me sometimes. Too "structured" I guess. But I do like how its load, aim, trigger push....repeat.

I did have flyers but that's not rare for most of us :)

Nice shooting and beautiful Baer!! Your gun is the ONLY other 1911 besides my SA I will ever own. Had the pleasure of shooting 200 rounds through one and loved it. By far the most accurate and finely built pistol these hands have touched.

Ha ha. Dan-i was grinning at how my groups were just more naturally tight than my new platformed + long pull polymer range mates. Not all new tools get the job done better I guess. :)

Damn nice pistol and shooting... other than those to flyers in at the right side pelvis area.
