CDNN has the Variant 3 / Decocker [V3] versions of the P30 in their latest catalog for $747. The long slide version is $795. You might want to try Whittaker Guns if you can't find the one you want. If your handy, you can find the LEM conversion kits online and DIY.

Is the LEM trigger really that great? It just has a shorter reset between rounds, correct?

Yes and yes. The soft shooting nature of these guns allows you to put rounds quickly on target with no trigger slap. One advantage to buying the V3 and a LEM kit separately is that if you hate it, you can take it out and sell the kit without taking a loss.

Yes he said it all. I Love my LEM trigger. Very nice to shoot, and makes follow up shots very easy. Of course this is just MHO.

Umm I can't remember for sure. I think it is, but I'm not 100%. If not like Warmon said, you can put it on there.

I have a full size USP45 that I bought used with my "Stimulus" check last year. They are very solidly built nice guns. I find the .45 USP very soft shooting and even though it's a big gun, it fits my hands well. I also like the configuration that mine has, which allows DA/SA like a SIG or "Cocked and Locked" like an 1911. I have it on my nightstand every night.

I think you would do well with a USPc in 9mm for carry. I have a SIG P239 w/ DAK trigger and understand that the LEM triggger on the H&K is very similar

The only downside I see is that the magazines are steep! Extra mags for mine run $55-65 a pop!
