Way to go Kel Tec! (Pic Heavy)

Got my PF-9 back from the mother ship a few days ago and needless to say, I am very pleased!

I was getting FTE's pretty frequently coupled with the mag popping out while firing. I was seriously contemplating getting another firearm because I just couldn't trust this one. So I sent it back to KT figuring I would sell it locally when I got it back.

First, it only took them two weeks exactly from when they rec'd it to when they shipped it out.
When I got it back, it had a paper included stating what was replaced.... I got a brand new gun!! They "replaced" the slide, barrel, frame, grip, and magazine. They even polished the feed ramp.

So I had a day off coming up and figured I would give her a go. After the first couple of mags I said to myself "The gun was never this "tight" before..." It felt like a nicely constructed, solid firearm. These were the results (even with anticipating the recoil). Much more accurate when I didn't anticipate.

    First Mag

    Second Mag

    Third Mag

Very impressed! I noticed a couple of subtle differences. First, the magazine was polished on the top where it hits the mag catch. It goes in much smoother now.

Also, the extractor is pushed in a few more millimeters than before. The extractor used to flush with the slide now it is recessed a little.

Long story short, I am happy with the firearm and their customer service. I put 100 trouble free rounds through it so far with more to come. I've decided to keep the gun as my EDC due to the ease of concealment in Florida weather. I also just rec'd my High Noon Split Decision and should receive my SmartCarry later this week. So I should never be unarmed. Also picked up a can of Sabre that now comes with wherever I go as well.

    Way to Go Kel-Tec!

I love and carry my hard chrome PF9 just like I did tonight. Great little gun and fits my big paws.

It was the first and last I've seen at all three of my local dealers...

I like the OD with the parker finish.

Congrats on the KT...I'm down to two... a .32, and a .380...never a problem with either.
