I didn't have 9mm, and I wanted one...so....I was able to buy one. I'm pretty happy with the new XDm. Still trying to get used to the lighter weight. I really like the 19 + 1 capacity!

Remind me NOT to break into your house. Nice.

Thanks! Now, if I can just find ammo! These days you have to be lucky to walk into a store that has any....at a store that has any at a decent price.
Just got me one a week ago. Was actually looking for a Service, but the XDM was all I could find, so I got it.... I love it
Prepare for the worst and hope it never happens
XD's rock! Great shooting! The more you shoot her the more you will like her.

I really like the look and feel of the XDM's. I just find they are hard to conceal under just a T-Shirt which is my normal mode of dress.

Congrats on the XDm9! I wonder if Springfield has any plans to carry their other models (sub-compact and standard) into the "m" version.
I have the .40 version of the XDm...it's awsome!
I doubt it. The point of the XDm is to offer a "premium" pistol compared to their normal line. I do expect a XDm45 in the near future. There's just no good reason that I can find not to offer one.
And to the OP, congrats on getting a fine weapon. Mine has over 700 rounds fired and hasn't had a hiccup since the first 100. It currently resides on my wife's night stand as she has "claimed it".
Congrats. I like it. The XDM is the first plastic pistol I have seriously considered buying. I still haen't made the leap yet, but I do like them.
