How popular is the 45 GAP? I've got a Glock 39.
I have shot the G37...shoots very flat and accurate. BUT XD stoped making them and SIG and HK never started leaving only Glock making them. I think it is the answer to a question that nobody is asking.

I am just as nice as anyone lets me be and can be just as mean as anyone makes me. - Quoted from Terryger, New member to our forum.
The 45 GAP (for me) solved the problem of easily concealing a 45.
I've got a Colt Officers Model and the Glock 39 is easier to conceal due to the reduced grip.
The .45GAP was never very popular (a solution to a nonexistent problem) and with Glock's introduction of the SF models solving the grips size issues of their .45ACP's I think it will be going the way of the dinosaurs.
It's just one of those cartridges that never took off and it just does not look like it's ever going to at this point in time.
GAP ammo is almost non existant in this area.
It's going the way of the dodo. Guns are few and the dealers that have them have a very hard time getting rid of them. Brass is hard to get too.
I want to have a job where the is no accountability,a job where I can do as I dang well please and make my own laws and act like a KING. I want to be on the Supreme Court.

Not to mention that even if you do find ammo, it's between 2-3 times the cost of .45 ACP.
I see lots of it around here, but that is 'cuz noone is shooting them. The .45GAP is on of those good solutions to a problem that's not there. Similar to what WC145 said.
"The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants."
The .45 GAP is going to be one of those calibers that has a few loyal fans, like the .32 H&R magnum, the .41 Remington magnum and the 10mm auto, but is largely ignored by the rest of the shooting fraternity. BTW, I have a .32 H&R magnum, so don't let this bother you at all. Because I don't. Enjoy your .45 GAP and stock up when you can to get plenty of ammo.
God bless our troops!
The GAP would only make sense if someone like Kahr was to make a true sub compact chambered for it.
