What targets do you use? Where do you get them?

I am finding it hard to find good targets for handgun shooting. Some people take offense at the silhouette targets but I like them. They are hard to find where I live. What do you all prefer. and any thought on where to by them?

I've got some silhouette targets I use, and when those get filled up with holes, I have some shoot-n-see targets I stick on. But these are a little more expensive, but I don't get to shoot all that much. If I shot more I'd print some off of the computer with colored paper perhaps, or just use paper plates. Use Google to find free targets to print, they are all over the place.

    I use cardborad boxes,

You also can cut a folded paper bag in half and have 2 silhouette targets

Yep great point, I suspect you are correct, no doubt perception is reality. bla bla bla I say that because there is a clear correlation between internet sales and availability of everything.

With these eyes, I like the shoot-N-see targets, but I do mix 'em up with paper plates, too!

I quite like the B-16 RC targets; I first used them at the NRA Shooting Range in Fairfax, VA. I recently bought 1000 of them from targetbarn.com.

I get mine at Wal-Mart. I use Shoot N See, champion targets, and bulk pack targets I buy at the gun shows. Your best bet if to go to a gun show though.. Just look at Wally world, and you'll find a selection.

Glock27/ KaBar TDI/ MTAC Holster. I have more also, but this combination works well..

Handgun shooting targets? I use the cheapo 9" paper plates, cardboard dividers from my cases of Mt Dew, pizza boxtops, etc..... Very low cost and I can also burn them. Once in a great while, I'll get several silhouette targets from my local indoor range for 80˘ each.

paper plates for target shooting, IDPA targets friends and i make out of card board boxes, the metal targets @ our range, and when i'm too lazy to do a lot of set up i take whatever is in the recycle bin (non glass) and shoot them full of holes. always fun to fill them up with water and put some food dye in them. Going to try cool aid next time i'm out there and remember, cheaper than dye :-D

I print my own. Made in Photoshop, I like gray because it doesn't use as much ink and I can see the holes better. I'll print a dozen or so and put them in my range bag.

I tried to attach the jpeg, but it doesn't show up

If I want to print a group, or actually see how close my sights are to correct, I shoot at a Shoot-N-See. I buy them at WalMart. I just stick them on whatever backing is at the range.

I can usually just shoot at whatever the last guy left hanging. Often, I can find a target someone chewed up with a 22, or something, and my 45 hits can still be easily seen.

    Yup, I'm a cheapo too...

Back when I shot at a private indoor range, it was paper plates for me.
