It really is a beautiful weapon and I like the way you did it too, with the account and all, that's a good idea in and of itself, a 1911 account

    God Bless

Thumbs up You Have A 1911 Account ?

    You lucky dog!

You know what that Colt REALLY NEEDS ?

A set of Ivory Grips From Nutmeg Sports.

Dip a little further into that 1911 account & grab a pair of fine Ivories while you still can. You'll never lose $$ on them. You can get the silver medallions.

I can't help with a picture of the front strap on Ti's pistol, but here's a link to mine:

    Don's stippling is impeccable.

    Ti Carry-

That was an excellent purchase. Sorry that you missed out on the DelFatti holster. Matt makes excellent rigs.

Witherspoon, thanks for posting your stippling from Don, looks great, gun looks great too. I am pretty excited about getting it in. I have an OWB Del Fatti but really wanted his IWB to go with the Colt. To say I'm pleased with my purchase would be an under statement.

QK, I'll look into the Ivory grips, I tend to like those on the more traditional looking 1911's though.

    Thanks for the feed back!!!!!!!!!!!

Thumbs up Drool Factor In Full Flood Mode

    Ti,

That is one fine looking gun and you have the right to be proud. I'm glad to see that I am not the only one who takes a good gun and makes it more to their liking. I really like the stippling......looks great and looks comfortable to shoot with. That's one of the things I like about my Wilson's is the 30lpi checkering on the front strap's. Let us know how the stippling compares to a fine checkering job when shot.

I really like my new stainless Professional, but wish it had the bobtail treatment and the slide top serrations. They both really dress up that gun of yours.
