Thanks CLASS3, I am looking forward to giving you one.

The gun has been sited at 25 yards so it should perform well.

    Thumbs up

    Very Extremely Nice Carry Gun.
    May it ever protect you!

Very nice common sense functional modifications.

I should add that even though I do not see much practical use or function for the bobbed tail.
I honestly DO like the way it LOOKS cosmetically & esthetically so it is OK in my book.

Thanks guys, I have been looking for awhile for one and just had'nt found "the one" yet. So I was patient, looked a bunch made a few offers on a couple that I really didn't care if the offer was accepted or not and the one I had been waiting for showed up. I was on this thing like stink on...............well you know I mean.

Being patient really paid off this time.

Chris, yea I'm in love alright but my girl friend said either you buy it or I'm buying it for you. She is pretty much sick of me talking about getting one.

She cost a nice bit! but really I got away with a very nice price. I was covered nicely cause I had been waiting for several months and just kept putting money in the 1911 account and she is still nice and fat for the next one that comes along.

    Thanks for letting me share.

That is just an incredible looking handgun. I own one 1911 and wish all of you had warned me more than you did when I bought that one because I simply love the format and deseperately want another! And now you post pics like this

It really is a beautiful weapon and I like the way you did it too, with the account and all, that's a good idea in and of itself, a 1911 account

    God Bless

Thanks Bruce, I was wondering when you were going to show up.

I will take better pictures when I receive the gun, I just couldn't wait to share and post it. I am using his pictures until he ships it. More to come.

Don Williams is one of the best in the business so I was very confident when buying knowing Don's work.

Don is part of the Louder Than Words (LTW) crew, such as Ted Yost, Ned Christiansen, C.T. Brian, Chuck Rogers, John Harrison and Stan Chen, Just to give you an idea of who Don Williams is and why I tripped over myself buying it when I saw it.

Believe me the pictures do not do this gun justice. I can't wait to get it to the house and in my hands.

Thanks Gideon, 1911's are very addictive and an account is nessary if your buying the quality ones.

Hey I also sent you a PM too.

Thanks, and the holster is a Del Fatti IWB. I was trying to get the holster also but he had sold it already before I bought the gun.
