    Simply beautiful. That model is THE one that turned me on to SIG to start with. I stumbled onto a slightly different P220R, and it's the SAO version. Best pistol I've ever owned. Enjoy!

    I just bought my first Sig last weekend. (like yours, a plain Jane P220R).

    I typically carry 1911's so that first shot has been something to get used to.

    I have since learned there is an SAO for sale a local dealer and I may just have to pick it up before it is gone. I haven't fondled it yet but I am anticipating handgun nirvana...

    That P220 in my opinion is the best overall SIG ou there except for my p228 the p226 would be a close third. Congrats!!

    Thanks guys. The P-220 is one of the best shooting .45s I've ever owned and this one will soon be added to my permit!

    Ive sat here staring at that pic for a few minutes now. Its my favorite Sig. I think Ive found one for myself too

    And yeah, I'd hit it too.
