I would not put much faith in the Jimeniz.

I don't have much faith with the jimenez, its not the best weapon makers in the world( I want to say cheap but wont) but I guess its better then nothing . The para on the other hand is a good weapon and I was considering a warthog myself when I started to CC, but chose a colt defender instead, because the para is a double stacked mag and is thicker on the grips and not as comfy for me to conceal as a single stack 1911.

I had the opportunity to hold and handle one of these Jiminez handguns today and was NOT impressed with the quality. As I was racking the slide, I could hear and feel the slide spring compress. It has possibly the worst trigger I have ever felt. You need probably 9-10 lbs. of pull to get it to go. I would absolutely not get one if that was any indication of their product.

The only good thing you can say about the jimenez is it is better than having a pocket full of rocks to throw, no much but a little better.

I looked at the Para Warthog, it appears to be well built like most Para's are, but for me just didn't fit my hand. Was probably one of the most uncomfortable guns I have held.

jimenez absolutly wont be a carry gun we both already have our own edc just want to get it engraved with her bro's name and bith and death date maybe even make it a gun she can take to the range every once in a while without fear of becoming one handed or worse.

The Jimenez is also a firearm for the economically challenged, so that they may also be afforded the right to self protection and preservation.

Regarding Jimeniz Arms hand guns - RUN away from one as fast as you can.

That are dangerous pot metal junque.

I am very much against pot metal slides on firearms because that metal gets more brittle over time.

You may end up with a slide embedded in your forehead some day when it breaks off the frame during rearward travel.

If it keeps on going back it's your skull or your eye that is finally going to stop it and that is going to hurt big time...for sure.

I own a Bryco .380, the company that used to be jimanez. The trigger is horrible! Do i trust it to go bang when i pull it? Yes. As far as what qkshooter just said this is new info. to me. But its good to know. Its also really heavy for its size.

    I'd rather trust a hi point than a jimenez....yes it's that bad.

Hi-point actually makes very nice firearms for the price. Nothing but good reviews on them. I also own a Hi-point compact 9 and its very reliable.
