I have an opportunity to purchase an AMT .380 for $125. Any one here have any input on it, good or bad? I am looking to purchase something for summer pocket carry. Is it worth it?
Thanks, Mike

I believe they are pretty good guns IIRC and the price sounds pretty good

Had one 25 years ago. Not bad... Do not run +P's or Corbon in it. You'll have failures. Other than that it was a pretty good little gun! It is a single action with a shrouded hammer. It has a manual thumb safety but IIRC it's behind the trigger as opposed to where the 1911's are. Also IIRC the mag release is on the heel of the mag well, European style

Makes a great paperweight or a throwing weapon. Buyer beware on these. You can do much better. Had one in a .380 and a .22 lr. Both were jammers. Put some serious money to get em to run but was not successful.![]()
