Got this last week before I took my CHL. I wanted to shoot it at the range before I took the test, but couldn't get around to it. Well took the test and shot 250/250, I thought it would be alright!!![]()

Nice find...sounds dependable...no Sig's in my safe yet, but the cop at school swears by them...maybe someday.![]()

ALWAYS carry! - NEVER tell!

Sigs are the shizzle now. Enjoy that accurate puppy.
God bless our troops!
My Glock 33 came equipped for .357 SIG which is what I wanted.
About a year later, for practice purposes, I purchased a .40 barrel and use that with the .40 ammo is less expensive and more readily available.
But because I like to carry in front pocket the Glock became weight issue.
Now I have RugerLCP with Crimson Trace laser attachment which I always carry and keep the Glock loaded with .357 for home protection
Glock 33 .357 SIG plus .40 S&W barrel for most of practice. Keep loaded with .357 SIG hollow point for home protection.
RugerLCP .380 equipped with Crimson Trace for everyday carry.

Lucky!! I want a Sig so bad. The upcoming J-Frame purchase is going to put that off awhile though.

+1 on the 229! You will not be disappointed.
I'll never forget the day I bought mine. That memory is right up there with the day I met the my true love.![]()

Congrats! I bought a used P229 a few months ago and really enjoy the gun. The gun is much more accurate than I am!
I have purchased one new Sig, which just about did it for my gun budget for a LONG time.
Lately, SIG is getting ragged out and berated on some of the other gun forums.
Price, QC, bling models, the decision to ship new guns with one mag, etc., all seem to be adding new fuel to the fire. Anyone else notice this?
It seems people have found something other than Kimber and Kahr to be the new whipping boy..............
congrats. I love my Sig 229 as well (looks just like yours ;-) ). I got a .40 and .357Sig barrel. It is a very versatile gun. There is even a 9mm barrel for it (requires different magazines as well).
