any tips on a model 60?
I just spent some range time with a S&W model 60 with a 3 in barrel and have fallen in love! I am sure this will be my next buy and would love for this to be my daily carry. Have any of you cc this model? Any holster recommendations? I have never cc a revolver before and am worried about the 3in barrel being a problem.
thanks

I have one but never CC it. I prefer a smaller framed gun for concealment. However I do carry it often when big game hunting for backup. I have thousands of rounds through it for target. I reload my own ammo. Love the gun BTW.

I've looked at the same gun and really really want it. Check out Comp-Tac. Good luck.

You probably will have better luck by contacting one of the custom holster makers, there are several who sponsor this forum. Give them a try.

Depending on how you feel about inside waistband vs. outside waistband carry, I'd go with a Comp-Tac holster for inside waistband, and for outside there are several alternatives. I'd recommend a high riding leather pancake holster that covers the gun well, such as:
1. Kramer belt scabbard
2. Desantis belt scabbard
3. Galco speed scabbard
These would all position a 3 inch revolver so that only part of the barrel extended below the belt, with much of the gun above the belt. Here is a picture from the Kramer website of the belt scabbard holding a 2 inch J frame revolver:
