What 40 Cal would you buy?

I am thinking about adding a 40 Cal to my collection of Handguns. If you where going to buy only one 40 Cal what do you recommend and why (S&W, Walter, Ruger, Glock, ETC)? This would be a Primary CW with a LCP as back-up.

40 cal??......uhm...have to be a Glock 23c, or an XD .40 sub compact.

Glock for..well being a Glock plus the compisater was a neat feature. Also I really like the look of the gun, the mags capacity, safety features, grip.

XD ? Well it's Spring Field Armory. I really like the look of the gun, the mags capacity, safety features, grip.

    Sig Sauer P229 .40

I would choose the Sig P229. It is the perfect size with absolute flawless build quality. Also, very accurate. You can't go wrong.

    1) The one that feels the most comfortable in my hand

    2) The one at the right price point for me at the time

    3) The one that has the features that I am looking for at the time

I bought a Glock 23 but handled every .40 cal that I could get my hands on prior to purchasing it. The Glock felt the best in my hand although there were a couple others that were a very close second. I also really liked the Sig but the weight and price were a tad more than I was prepared to deal with at the time....until next time.

    229. Right size, right weight and best build quality.

I would pick the G23. IMHO, it is the best value, and very reliable.

Taurus 24/7 pro. Compact and lightweight. Good qaulity, reliability,
high cap. (15+1), and affordable. Best bang for your buck. PERIOD.

HK...any of them. Probably look at the USP Tac...Adjustable sights, match trigger..all around a great gun. Speculation that the P30 will come out in .40...if that happens I'm buying one of those.

G23, if not that then p229. I personally think the g23 carries a little slimmer and easier than the p229.
