    Glock 19 or 23

Going to pick up a new glock. Should I go with a Glock 19 a 23 or some other Glock?

What are the factors in your decision?

Do you shoot one caliber better than the other?

All things being equal, I would go for the 23 if it were me.

I have, carry and love my G23. The new one will be a truck/car gun. On the one hand the 40 hits harder, on the other hand the 9mm is cheaper to shoot. I'm on the fence with this but I'm kind of thinking 9mm just form the ammo cost stand point.

I've owned 2 23s and I'm on my 3rd 19. I like the 23 but I love the 19. I like the 9mm just fine as long as I can pick my loads.
You got to go with what you really like. Neither is a bad choice.

I currently have/carry G26. I will be ordering a G19 within the next 5 days. 9mm is sufficient to stop a threat. 9mm is cheaper to buy ammo therefore allowing you to practice more. JMHO
Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.

if you have a 23 then get another one. one big factor in me getting my 26 over the 27 is i already have a 9mm so don't have to buy separate ammo. sure 9mm is cheaper but why have to stock up on both?

Go 36, same size but slimmer. Carries a .45ACP. Get a spare mag.

The 19 is the better package over all. Even though my EDC is a 23. Every dept I have worked for carries .40. its just what I am used to. But the 19 is a better choice overall I think.

G30 SF. 45 ACP 10 round mags and uses the G21 13 round mags. It's about the same size as the 19 or the 23 just a hair wider.
