    New Walther .380?

I stopped by MC sporting goods to look at the goodies, and the guy behind the counter showed me in some magazine ( don't know which one) that Walther is coming out with a new .380 that looks like their p22. Just wondering if anyone can shed any light on this.

I saw pictures of it from the 2009 SHOT show. It looks nearly identical to the P22. Me wants!

I have the p99's twin brother, sw99 but I think I might want something a little smaller for summer carry. I really hope they don't want a small fortune for it.

I have it on authority (gun dealer) that the PK380 is based on the P22 frame. Its is slightly larger but not by a great deal. He cited some stats on the size but I do not remember specifically. He has seen the gun and said that it will give other 380s a run for the money. At least he is betting on it as he put in a large order for the gun. He fully expects it to sell. The pric was not settled but they expect that it will be around $450.

Its larger than my LCP/P3AT's, and I would guess that it would be similar to my PF-9, which packs far more of a wallop. The safety looks to operate backwards, and yet I still want one.

kind of big for a 380. the p3at is the right size for a pocket gun.

If the safety is the same as on the P22, backwards from the 1911 style, ( it looks small and awkward too in this photo), I doubt it would make a good carry gun. A fun gun for sure, but I can't see it for carry.

    Completely agree here...

Yea I can agree it is a little on the big side, but I suspect this is going to be very popular for the ladies and for lefties who need a smaller gun to conceal.

My left handed wife is really eyeballing this one.
I will support gun control when you can guarantee all guns are removed from this planet. That includes military and law enforcement. When you can accomplish that, then I will be the last person to lay down my gun. Then I will carry the weapon that replaces the gun.

My GF loves shooting my P22. I will buy her one of these for carry when they come out.

Walther did the right thing when they hired Morini to design their grips. 10 out of 10 Olympic gold medalists shoot with Morini grips. They just feel right.
