    New family addition

I just brought a new box home.....

    I wonder what's what's inside?

    It's a Smith & Wesson M&P 9 with safety.....

With it's little cousin my daily EDC.....

With another new addition to the family.....

What's this? I bet your LCP doesn't have this.....

The LCP was won at a National Wild Turkey Federation banquet. The round dot is a sticker. This gun is new, never shot.

I took it to see what I would get for trade. I was offered $250. This store has a list of 90 people waiting for LCP's. He told me they would sell my LCP for $350 if I traded. I asked for $300 and he wouldn't do it.

Makes no since to me why he wouldn't do it. He even agreed it would more than likely get sold the day it gets set out. I was going to buy a S&W 642 if he traded and I told him that.

Who knows when I'll shot the M&P. I can't find 9mm ammo ANYWHERE. I'm seeing .40. Something I didn't see a couple weeks ago. Hopefully this means 9 will be getting better.

I'm unsure if I'm keeping the LCP. No hurry though. We all know how .380 is to find.

Nice collection although I'm not to keep on the M&Ps...as for the SK, how do you like the flat floor plates compared to the extendeds? I've been looking at buying some for mine, but I'm not sure how I'd like them since my hand fits perfectly on the grip right now with the extended.

Also what holster do you carry the SK in?

I also have the extended baseplates. My original feeling was the extended was more comfortable. I think anyone would feel that way. After getting used to the flat bottom plates I have no problem what so ever with them. I wouldn't switch back. I like the shorter profile.

I carry it in a HBE Com 3. I carry it everyday with a Beltman belt. Doesn't bother me a bit

Nice find. You will like the M&P even if it has a safety on it

I like my M&P and you also.

Cool thanks for the info. I've been trying to get a set of the flats but the few people I've talked to that have them havent wanted to give them up. I can't wait to get a "real" holster, as I've just been using a Uncle Mike's for now, to try and get used to having a pistol IWB. Again great collection.

I knew I would get flack about the safety. They had both styles so it was my decision to pick the one with safety.

When I read Smith was putting safeties as an option on all M&P's I instantly wanted one in 9mm. I can't explain why. For what this pistol is going to be used for I felt like the safety is what I wanted.

My carry gun has no safety and for that I wouldn't want one.

I have handled the M&P all week getting familiar with it and this is the best feeling pistol I have handled. I literally love the feel of it. I really like the looks too.

Was able to take it to the range today and it shoots as good as it feels. I shot 100 rounds through it and had no malfunctions at all.

It was very windy out so it was tough to shoot anything consistent. I am by no means a great shot. I don't get out as much as I should.
