IWB Glock 30 vs. Glock 27?

I know the slide is wider in the Glock 30 than the Glock 27. Is it noticably different? More uncomfortable? The G27 is a breeze to carry IWB. But, I'm thinking of getting a G30SF to add to my collection and carry options. I know I would need new holster(s) too.

I have a G30SF and its not to bad to carry. Though sometimes I wish I would have gone with a little bit thinner gun.

I have both the 30 and 27; 27 is very comfortable IWB, the 30 feels ackward IWB. I do carry some extra girth which may add to the comfort issue.

Yes, I agree...the G27 is a breeze to carry. G30? Where there's a will, there's a way. Used to carry my former G30 OWB in a Don Hume JIT holster. Never tried IWB with it.

the g27 is easy to carry. have you looked at the g36?? i like the g36 over the g30. it is hard for me to pick between the g27 and the g36.

I carry a 30sf and a 26 IWB (same size as 27) and the 30 is a little thicker. The 30 is not too much worse to carry though. One thing I will tell you is you will love the 30sf better then the 27 when it comes to shooting it! IMHO the 30 is te most acurate Glock(although I have not shot a 21sf.....yet)

Just got a new G29SF. Similar dimensions to the 30SF. I've only carried it IWB a few times so far but it works fine in a MTAC. Sure it's not as comfy as my PM9 in my Dakota Defender or VMII but it's not so bad that I won't continue to do so. I'll probably be ordering some IWB leather for the G29SF also.
