Yea the 10 day thing sucks, especially since every day you go there to fondle your new sweety your going to have to take a number.
Congrats.
Just remember that shot placement is much more important with what you carry than how big a bang you get with each trigger pull.

Congratulations on the purchase, but the 10 day wait is a bummer. Do you have your CCW permit? Here, a CCW permit does away with any waiting period.

10 days sucks!! I love my SP101. Has been tons of fun to shoot so far. I will say that I can only shoot about 15-20 rounds of full house .357s before my hand betrays me and quits. .38s are a dream to shoot!!

10 Days!?!?! We don't get it. We're guessing that being that you're in Kali you can't carry either (those rights are reserved for LEO, felons, and VIP's). We don't get it...
Those Ruger Revolvers are great and almost indestructible, not to mention great shooters, nice grab!

I'm in California it's true. BUT, the 10 day wait is only exempt for LEO.
I do carry and have my permit. It does exempt me from the "firearms safety card" requirement but it doesn't exempt me from the 10-day "cooling off period." Which is idiotic since I was ALREADY carrying a loaded weapon when I bought the new one.
This one is going to be my "trail gun" for when I'm out in the real boonies. It will eventually be listed on my permit so I can carry it in town as well but that won't happen until after about 1000 rounds down range. And a trigger job. And new grips. And...
