I want to test fire one...but didn't see any at the dealers.
Ruger LCR - Lightweight Compact Revolver
My dealer has one with the CT grips... kinda neat..not worth the money in my opinion... alot of money for a 5 shot revolver..Robbie
Yep! I played with one at the gun shop a month ago. It is very well designed and incorporates a really unique trigger action. It’s very smooth with
very little stacking. Actually, I believe the build quality exceeds that of my S&W 642. Still, mine is customized so I wouldn't consider trading it off. Admittedly, I was very tempted to order one, but I’m not sure I can justify two J’s in this economy. However, if I were in the market for a J-Frame, I would buy it.
Regards,:yup:
Great choice, that LCR. I want one too.
Problem for me is I bought my 642 new about a year and a half ago for $329. I cannot see myself spending $500 for a 5 shot 38 cal. revolver, that hasn't been time tested.
Was NOT impressed with the ones I saw at the SHOT SHOW. I'll stick with my J frame.
I bought one. The trigger is much better than any J-Frame that I have ever owned. I just got it and won't be able to shoot it for another week.
It may look very nice, but I'd let them circulate for a year to work out the 'snags'...you know there will be some...:yup:
I've heard the trigger is pretty nice. I've been thinking of getting the wife one. She has a Taurus 85 now, which she likes, but the trigger pull is fairly stout and she has some trouble with hand strength/grip strength. To those of you that have dry fired or regular fired one, is the trigger pull that much better than a Taurus 85 or a S&W 642?
I cant wait to get my hands on one! Heard nothing but good things about them.
Probaly good guns, but crap there UGLY.
as much as i love rugers, i have 8ish, i just can't see spending that much for a 5 shot .38. guess i'll just have to wait and find a used one specially since my budget is non existent i'll just drool and wait and see. pictures and reviews when you owners get the chance to shoot them!
