1st trip to the range with new G27

Well I made my first trip to the range with the new G27 and all I can say is I love it. Here is a picture of the target from my first two mags at 7 yds. Wind was blowing from right to left at 20-30 mph. Also I am taking Prednisone for a back injury and hands are shaking like I just drank 3 pots of coffee. I am amazed with how well this little guy shoots. It is a joy to carry, small and light weight. It will be easy to get use to this for my new carry weapon.

yep, baby glocks are good shooters. I've used my 26 in IDPA a number of times and beat loads of people shooting full sized pistols.

    Nice pistol, and nice shooting!

I LOVE my new G27. It carries so well OWB on me. I have finally found the "best" carry gun for me. Small, light, and packs a punch.

Nice. I am considering trading my new XD .40 for a G26 or G27.

Congrats and nice shooting. I don't know why but the 27s I've owned were more accurate than the 22s and 23s I've had. It's a matter of time before I get another, I'm sure.

    Congratulations on a fine weapon.

From the looks of your target, it appears that you may be tightening all of the fingertips in your shooting hand as you pull the trigger, resulting in low-left impact. Handgun Target Analysis

I had the same problem, but eventually overcame it with practice. I can now put several rounds through the same hole.

Trying to be helpful, and not overly critical.

I have been carrying an XD45c for a while now. I love the gun but wanted something a little smaller and lighter for warm weather carry. After my first outing with this I may have found a new year round carry. I shortened an old Don Hume IWB that I had for my G22 and just used it today to carry the 27. It is so much lighter and more comfortable than the XD. Now I just need to get a couple of holsters ordered for it and I am set. My XD has been moved over to night stand duty for now.
