Brownells, Glockmeister, Shooters Connection, MidwayUSA--they are commonly available and cheap.

Heads up, they are not a panacea. The extended slide stop causes more problems than it solves and the extended mag release may do likewise if you go for a big one. The factory version is "okay".

The extended slide stop came off my G35 Limited gun for a stock one.

+1...I'll be a little more "pointed" and say that I don't see a good reason to install either one. Leave it stock and spend the money on a couple of boxes of ammo.

the above mentioned places all sell what you mention,

but I have to agree with Kenpo, practice with the stock setup and use the $$$ for ammo or other necessities

Lone wolf has both of them and the total is only $20. The mag release is only $3-4 plus shipping.

I like the Glock extended mag release and have no trouble with premature ejection. (That doesn't sound very nice does it? LOL) I do not really have a use for the extended slide stop though.

Lone Wolf is a good company to deal with, get their catalog.
I have the extended mag release on both my Glocks 19 and 26.
The slide release, I never use. Most schools recommend bringing the slide back, either with the other hand, the belt, the heel, etc.

I would agree the extended mag release is a potential problem. However, I really like a slightly extended mag release. I have used these for years and never had a problem with one and it's significantly easier, hence faster, to operate in a fast reload.

You do need to be sure the extension won't contact your holster and release however. You can find out by pressing in on the gun and seeing if the release makes contact. What you're looking for is to see if a 'bump' to the holster/gun will release the mag. I've never had that problem with any of my holsters, but it is wise to check to be sure.

I too would recommend Lone Wolf: http://www.lonewolfdist.com/

The extended mag release has worked well for me. The only slide stop change I made is on one Glock when I changed all the small pieces to chrome.

ebay have a good supply of mag and slide releases. Also a couple of combo kits which have both items.

I use an extended slide release on my G19 and intend on getting the mag release eventually. I use a Blackhawk CQC Holster and have no issues getting it in and out of holster quickly.

The stock Glock slide release I find is not quite grippy enough to engage, especially if your thumb is a little sweaty.

I did notice though that you tend to use the slide release to rest your thumb on and consequently the slide doesnt lock back on the last round (sometimes), bad habit I know.

    I need an extended Slide Release for a G20 and a G36
I also need an extended Mag release for a G20 and G36.

I searched the sites above and cannot find an online retailer that sells all 4 items I need and has them in stock. If you know of anyone that does, please let me know. Thanks.

I have to agree totally with these members and anyone else who has said something similar. I do not alter the guns I carry. Some may say I am being overly cautious but, I will not give any slime ball lawyer (apologies to any lawyers on here who do not belong to the slim ball sub-species of lawyer) who is pressing a lawsuit against me for shooting their slim ball client because he forced me to shoot in self defense. Just a little liability issue for me.

If you are really intent on the extended mag release google Vickers Tactical Mag release. I don't really have an issue with the stock releases, but the Vickers really puts mag release in the "sweet spot". I had them on a G23 and G22 and there was never an issue with any of my holsters.

As for the extended slide stop, eh.......

You can change these two items on any of your Glocks using Stock Glock Parts. Order yourself a Glock slide stop for the G34 or G35 and you won't be dissapointed. As for the mag release, take a close look at the Glock website under Magazine catches you will notice the "oval" mag catch part #3294 instead of adding to the length of the release which is causing the holster issues. The "oval" release has a larger pad which is easier to reach with your thumb. Lone wolf Distributors is installing these Glock parts under Part numbers LWD-1981R Large frame and LWD-287R Small Frame. Cost $14.95 for the release and $30.00 for install. I have installed both of these items on my G29 and G33 and they work. Plus they are OEM Glock parts !!
