    Hk p2000sk

Fresh from my local gun shoppe. H&K P2000SK with factory lazer. I am not a huge fan of lazers in general but I like how compact the whole package is. Lite, small, and tight. Fits my hand like it was made for me. It's my first poly frame as well as my fist H&K too. I am impressed with H&K altogether.

Give us a range report when you get a chance.

    Congratulations!

Pretty gun. I like Hk too and have always thought the Sk fit my hand very well also. Just couldn't get past how much the Hk's cost.

Please do give us a range report after you shoot it the first time!

Wait 'til you shoot it! The P2000sk is a great pistol. The accuracy is astonishing. HK is a master of recoil control...you will be very happy with how it feels in your hand. Yes, they cost more than some, but they are worth every penny. I've carried one for a bit over three years now and it has yet to disappoint me in any way.

Sometimes CDNN has USPc/P2000 10 round mags cheap, about $10. These fit and make range time more fun. They stick out the butt a bit, but who cares.

Enjoy your new HK, a great choice.

The P2000 is a great pistol. My buddy owns one and it is even better than my USP.

I have the p2000sk and love it! In fact I just ordered a P2000 to keep it company. Yes I know very similar handguns but I was looking for a new .40 and always came back to the H&K.

I will post a range report as soon as I can break away from work and Easter activities with the kids. I have a range date scheduled for next Friday morning weather permitting. I also have 350 round of 9mm to keep me there for a few hours. I have handled and shot one of the H&K P2000 handguns before and it was the first poly frame that I enjoyed shooting. I did not get to shoot the P2000SK but it fits my hand even better that the P2000 does. I have smallish paws anyway.

Have you ever looked at the rifling (grooves) inside the barrell? It is machined unlike any other barrell I have ever seen. I did not notice it until I took it apart for a preliminary cleaning and lube. It is not a conventional rifling.....it's a smooth cupped twist inside the barrell that should make cleaning a breeze. I am not sure why they chose to cut them that way but I imagine that cut pattern is whay H&K has the accuracy reputation. The lack of deep grooves will keep the barrell wear to a minimum too. Unusual steel work though

HK's polygonal barrels almost look like facets on a diamond. A bit different than Glocks plygonal shape.

If you think the P2000sk is odd, look at it's older brother P7, a unique chamber.

Your going to love the SK. I have both the P2000 and the P2000SK. And they are by far my favorites. The recoil is good for such a small package and it aims very well. It will also eat anything. I have never had any FTF or FTE. Great choice and I look forward to the range report. Also like someone else said pick up the 10 round mags for it and HK sells a spacer to fix the gap in between the mag and the grip so you can have more in your mag on the range.

Bought one last week, it is a magnificent shooter. I am on the hunt for factory 10 round magazines for it. HK USP compact magazines will fit it, BUT, the bottom sticks out about 1/2 an inch.
I am also looking for a full size P2000 V3. That is how sold I am on them.
