My wife is just way cool.

We were out today signing the paperwork to finish the re-finance on our house. We decided to stop at the local gun shop to look around. We'll she found herself another gun that she just couldn't resist. Personally I think it's kinda ugly, but she really liked it. So here it is. When we got married 3 years ago she had zero guns, well now she has 5 pistols and a rifle. I think I've created a monster. Soon it will be safe shopping because my old one is overflowing

Your right, it's ugly but beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Or in this case the one with the cash.

Good choice. You get the next one right?

Actually she reminded me it was her turn because I picked up my Kimber Ultra Carry a couple of weeks ago. How could I argue with that? BTW didn't say but it's a S&W 638 Airweight with bobbed hammer.

Yea it comes with the black grip also, but believe it or not what she really liked was the bobbed hammer. She carries IWB at 1:00 and she says the hammer on her Taurus 85 digs her sometimes.

The hammer can snag on the draw also, if only for SD I would want a hammerless too. The hammer is OK for target but for SD carry dangerous IMHO.

I saw one of these at the range tonight. They were selling the gun, a pink range t-shirt, and pink safty glasses. Neat if you ask me.

Many of the companys that sell pink pistols donate money for every pistol sold to breast cancer research, for that reason alone I would buy a pink pistol. Besides if I pulled one of those on a bad guy, he would probably go in shock or just die laughing.

IMHO, the only "ugly gun" is that one that doesn't go *bang* when the trigger is pulled.

Grats for having a wife that's into guns! My wife and I have been taking turns with purchases, but it goes more like this:
    Me: XDm 40 bi-tone
My Wife: Front loading Washing Machine
    Me: RRA AR-15
My Wife: Matching Front loading Dryer
Me: A couple .22 Marlin rifles for the kids
My Wife: Summer clothes for the kids
    and so on....

Cool wife? I'd say that you're a luckys man, but I agree...you may have created a monster...although it is a good monster.
