    New Ruger GP100

Finally had to get myself a revolver! Got the stainless steel 3 in. barrel .357 magnum. This thing feels like its build like a brick house. Anyone else shoot these?

I don't have any experience with it, but I've heard nothing but good things. Congrats and be safe!!

My GP100 with the Model 19. The GP100 is an amazing gun and can take a lot of full house loads. Ruger did this one right.

Yes, I have several, in barrel lengths from 3" to 6", with both fixed and adjustable sights. One was my duty handgun for a while, and bidding starts at fifteen thousand dollars. Just kidding! I am not auctioning it, just showing how much I value a weapon with which I have BT&DT.

TX, good buy. I have had one for about a year and love it. You are right about the way its built - if you run out of ammo it would make one hell of a club.

You can shoot the biggest loads made commercially I am confident in this gun.
    It is quite simply, over-built.

Excellent gun... I have a 6" barrel... purchased it back in approx 1992... thousands of rounds through it... the trigger became very smooth soon after I purchased it... right now I can shoot at a target 50' down range and consistently put every shoot with in a 12" circle.... love that gun.

I have a 4" and love it. Built like a tank.
I installed a set of Wolf springs that made a huge difference in the trigger.

LOL Yeah I think as a club will work just as good as shooting! Ok maybe not quite. But it is the best balanced handgun I have handled. Maybe not the everyday carry as I have a glock for that, but this one finally gave me a reason to get a revolver!

Congratulations. A GP100 with 4" barrel is high on my want list.
