Talked myself out of a purchase..
Almost pulled the trigger on a Kahr PM9 for my EDC.
1. It was stainless I prefer all black for better concealability
2. Price was a bit steep ($699 otd)
3. I dont have any 9mm ammo
4. I need new tires lol
5. The Saiga bug has got me and I really want a Saiga 12 before the prices go nuts
Guy tried to get me to buy a Guardian .380 instead. It was $545 otd. Never heard of them..How are they?

North American Arms (NAA) Guardian .380, $400 here:
Guardian .380
$545 seems a little steep, but it's the nature of supply and demand.

Had a Guardian and sold it...shouldnt have. Its very well built a little heavy but helps with recoil. Good luck finding 380 ammo though. The PM9 is as advertised and is an excellent option worth the money according to a lot of people on here.

If you thought you had problems finding 9mm ammo - good luck finding .380. I am looking at 9mm pistols because I do have a decent supply of 9mm ammo. I would wait on purchasing any .380 pistol right now, at least until the ammo for it becomes readily available once more. (Hopefully!) (and soon!) JMHO.
God bless our troops!

I have 200 rounds of .380 Remington hollow points I bought at WalMart a few weeks ago just incase I did buy a .380.

Well then you are all set, go ahead and get that puppy. They are good quality pistols and somewhat hard to find these days.
God bless our troops!

This is the same reason i havent bought a kahr. And the gaurdian price sounds a lil steep.

The Guardian is a great little gun. A bit heavy for a mouse gun bit is shoots real nice and well made. But... I agree.... you "guy" is overpricing it. I think I paid $399 for mine. I had a for a few months and loved it.
I gave my Guardian 380 to the Daughter in law for her Birthday (I had loaned her my Seecamp and wanted it back) and she chose the stock grips and the black sharkskin holster to go with it.
So I find myself with some nice smooth Pau Ferro grips ($43 list) and a nice Mitch Rosen rough side out ($73 list) for the 380 (will fit the NAA32 as well, but not the smaller 32ACP or the 25) if anyone is interested. They look stunning together. I had em up for sale here at one time but no one would meet my $75 price for both of them. Kept low ballin me. They are brand new.

I once owned a Guardian .380. The trigger mechanism broke at the range after firing about 150 rds. Traded it in on a KahrMK9, and never looked back.

I dunno I am just still really debating on the .380 vs the 9mm and relative size difference between the PM9 and LCP, as well as the large price difference

Well, it sounds like it’s still below retail, especially if it had night sights. However, best to be more committed since impulse purchasing comes with the hobby. On the other hand, I saw what I really wanted but I held off, and now I’m waiting weeks on the same gun as a special order.
