    Nice choice...I've not owned a Sig...YET.

I can identify with your 'problem'...same addiction.

Dang you! I've been eyeing the 220 for several years. I later decided the 220 Carry looked like the best choice. And recently decided SAO would probably be the way I'd go. Very nice!

    Warmon,

it looks like mine has an external extractor. It came with one eight round, and one ten round mag.

It seems that a lot of people have been lusting after a Sig! The 220 Carry just seems like a good balance between size and capability. Side by side, it is almost the same size as my XD9 Service. The beaver tail makes it just a touch longer. It is definitely heavier, but that helps soak recoil. It is also perfectly balanced (for me at least). Too bad life got in the way of going to the shooting range today. The SAO part puts it in the league of the 1911 for shootability.

I need to find a place that I can do some night shooting to test out the night sights. That should be fun!

Redbird, the Pro is a polymer framed Sig, right? I don't know what it is, but I have never liked the feel of the ANY of Sig's polymer framed guns.

    Keep safe everyone.

    Terri sez...

Welcome back to the 220 crowd. Honestly I would rather chew off my left arm then sell my 220.
    Honestly though, SAO?
DA/SA, P220 with nightsights. Truely a combat grade weapon.
I'm with Terri, gotta love the DASA... but I must sheepishly admit I'm lacking the nitesites... they are coming, though...

Never met a Sig I didn't like... yours is a beauty...

Hmm....two people have issue with the SAO. Different strokes, I suppose. I prefer a consistent trigger pull.

It is pretty in a kinda evil, black functional sort of way.

Quality comes at a price. It is the same reason a BMW four dour sedan costs more than a Chevy. Higher quality materials, greater precision in manufacturing, tighter quality control.

Either all that, or it's the name.
