    Torn between Two

I have a M&P 40c and a Walther pps 9mm and keep going back and forth between the two as to which one to keep as my carry gun. I can not keep both. I have only have carried the Walther. I do not have a holster for the M&P yet. Anybody have both that can offer some insight.

I love my MP40c! its my EDC many many hundreds of rounds not one problem. Fits nicely in Comptac and snug against my body enough that I can pull of a t-shirt and jeans no prob.

Oh and Smith & Wesson have excellent customer service. They stand behind their firearms!

Well, yeah sorta. I find the PPS is more fitting to my smaller hand and it clearly concealed better on my particular body frame. When I slip the PPS into my Thunderwear, it completely disappears. Whereas, the MP bulged a bit. “Not that there’s anything wrong with that”

I'd keep the M & P...of those two choices, that is, unless you like 'gun bite'...

I have the M&P9c...basically the same weapon, and I love it. It's great to shoot with and I find it conceals exceptionally well with my crossbreed supertuck!!!

The Walther is much much thinner, and is much easier to conceal without worries of printing.

For many people, the M&P shoots better.

I'll personally take the gun that's easier to shoot better any day of the week.

My vote is for the S&W. Nice, compact gun. (Of course, so is the Walther...)

    two

I leaning towards selling the Walther since it will fetch a higher price. It also is odd having one weapon with a different mag release than all my other handguns.

another vote for the M&Pc.. having shot both, the ergonomics on the M&P are better imo.. i carry mine in MTAC holster and sometimes forget it's there..

that said.. they are both great guns!

I would opt for the M&P. Smith is agressively promoting this line and some police departments are switching to it. Smith has a life time warranty. Even though Smith markets Walther in the US the M&P still makes more sense.

    This one...FIST, INC. ...at 4:00.

or this one at 5:00-5:30... FIST, INC. of which I have become very accustomed to for everyday carry. I carry a little to the right of the spine, over the kidney.

Keep in mind that any of these holsters come in either leather or kydex (or a combo of the two). I only use kydex for pocket carry, leather is soooooo much more comfortable for IWB...IMHO.

The Walther is easy to conceal, is very accurate, and is also covered by Smith & Wesson
