The Kimber is much better quality when it comes to single stack single action, but the PM40 is a single stack polymer 40 cal designed to slip in a pocket and be a rugged pocket gun. Moral of the story is that they are both one of the best at what they are designed to do. IMHO...I think the PM40 would be much more easy to keep reliable and running everyday.
