The problem I have with the P232 decocking lever is that it is extremely hard to reach and push down with my right thumb. I almost always have to assist with my left thumb. I have a P239, and have no such trouble--can reach the lever and it pushes down easily. I trust the decocker implicitly, but am wondering if anyone else has trouble making it work on the P232. I know it's got a spring for resistance; anyone know if the spring can be replaced with one slightly less tough? Is this a problem just with my P232, or do all P232s have this very stiff decocker? BTW, reaching it with Hogue grips on the gun is nigh impossible for my hands, and I wear 'large' in gloves. Reaching it with the the factory grips is a little easier, but it still takes more strength than I have in my right thumb to get it to release the hammer. Like I said, this is no problem at all on my P239. Any ideas, suggestions?
