Ruger LCR
I handled one today (didn't shoot it). The trigger pull is really good for an out of the box revolver. The one issue seems to be that it does have a long reset. This model had laser grips and cost $750. Way too much in my opinion. I will probably get a non-lasered model when they come in (just under $500). The overall feel of the gun is very good.

Hmm...for a little more money you could get a Glock or M&P...and for less you could get a used S&W snubbie...or a Kel-Tec...
If you like it, get it, but IMO, for that money, there are better options.

I'll bet that price includes a heavy novelty premium... the gun is brand new to the market and hardly anybody has them. Some sucker will be willing to pay that much for it but in a year it'll reset to normal pricing.

IMO, The LCR is not close to competing with a S&W J-frame. Its like comparing Jay Cutler to John Elway.

I don't like Glocks, I have an M&P, I have Smiths and I have owned a Kel-Tec. The Ruger is something different to try out.

MSRP is $330, and you can go to Gun brokers dot com and find about two dozen of them.
I got mine for $330 form a gun shop right here in town?
The LCP is an excellent BUG, very small, very lightweight and easily concealable.
I got about 200 rounds through mine, I won't be shooting anything over 10 yards away, any time soon

The trigger is actually better than on a J-frame. I'll get one, try it out and see if it holds up. Consider it my science project.

This is the LCR, not the LCP.

We finally got one in last week and it sold in 4 days. The owner of the shop put a price of 519.00 on it, and it sold quick. The guy that bought it was pretty proud of the fact that this was the only one we've ever had, and thats its brand new to the market. What we've started noticing is there is now alot of people wanting to do trade-ins and get something cheaper. It may-be buyers remorse. Maybe they spent too much during the panic buying mode, and now they need grocery money. Oh well, time will tell. Kevin.

I too had the chance to play with an LCR. It's nice, but I can't see paying that..

--I'M PROUD TO HAVE THE ABILITY TO BEAR ARMS--
Glock27/ KaBar TDI/ MTAC Holster. I have more also, but this combination works well..

I wonder what price LCR will settle at in a couple years after the bugs are worked out? I think even $500 is too much for a BUG.
