then
Sig P220 and a .22 conversion for it.
Then maybe a Sig p239 in .40
edit - or maybe a Kimber untra carry II
now all I gotta do is come up with a few grand to make it happen.

The addiction strikes down another good man!
You know that it is only a fleeting satisfaction you feel when you pick up that new friend. You will just have to start a new search the next day.

Nice choices, but I think you should just go ahead and get the LEM, worst thing that can happen is you can swap parts with somebody that has DA/SA parts that want the LEM. But once you try it, I don't think you'll be doing that.

My P2000SK in 9mm is awefully comfortable at my 4:00
You will love it once you kick the tires. Its big enough to hold 10 rds and small enough to all but dissapear under a shirt. I love the way this shoots

I may be wrong. but I think a DA/SA can be converted to LEM but not the other way around due to the lack of a decocker in the LEM.
The HK P2000sk is an outstanding pistol in every way. Either trigger is attached to a world class gun. Here's something to hold you until your's comes in.

No, the P2000sk DA/SA cannot be converted to LEM. That said, get the LEM and swap the $10 springs to reset the trigger pull from 8# to 4.5#.
Remember, if dry-firing the LEM, you MUST rack the slide to simulate the true pull of the trigger. You normally carry this pistol with a round in the chamber, no safety lever. The longish trigger pull is the safety.
After you first fire a live round, don't release the trigger immediately. Slowly release the trigger until you feel it "click" - that's the reset when you can fire a second round.
Last tip, don't over-engage the trigger with your finger tip. Make sure that your trigger finger is in an arc going straight back. Over-engaging the trigger will shift that arc sideways, making the 7 o'clock hits (right-handed) common. Just apply pressure on the trigger until it goes "bang" for the most accurate results, and the P2000sk is VERY ACCURATE, despite its size!
