What do we think of Glock OD Green?
Hi guys. I was at my FFL this past weekend looking for a Glock 19. He did not have any in black, but he did have two in OD Green. I had never seen this color frame in person before and as silly as it sounds couldn't decide if I liked it or not! I would describe the color as more desert tan than a true green. What do you guys think of the OD Green Glocks? How long have they been available? Are they fairly rare? As always, any insight is greatly appreciated.

I think they look right cool. From Ken Lunde's pics they look more like sand or baby poop brown than OD, but still cool.
If I wanted a Glock I would want it with the OD frame. (or maybe some fancy cerakote color, but I wouldn't want to pay extra!)

They have been around for a while, pretty common.
I have a OD G17 that is a few years old,and a OD G26 that I bought last summer, and though I like them ,if I had it to do over again,I would get the 26 in black!

Nothing wring with OD green, but my personal preference is black.

I like 'em, if for no other reason than it is some sort of "difference" from the standard black.
A man fires a rifle for many years, and he goes to war. And afterward he turns the rifle in at the armory, and he believes he's finished with the rifle. But no matter what else he might do with his hands - love a woman, build a house, change his son's diaper - his hands remember the rifle.

If I was to buy a glock, I would really consider the OD if only to show off at the range, separate yourself from the pack.

OD green Glock? No thanks....wouldn't have one myself. Looks like split pea baby food, or a loaded diaper. Makes me green just thinking about it. Any Glock better than no Glock? Well, maybe....but I'm a big fan of the originals in many things. Sort of like Pringles chips.

I am not meaning to offend any one that likes OD Green but I am not a fan. I was at a local gun store buying a 22 rifle not long ago and talking with the owner. I said I might be in the market for a G26 if he ran across one. He told me one was coming in on the same order as my rifle. I asked for a price, he told me and I said I will take it. He than told me it was OD green so I passed. For me it is black or no thanks.

I like my two Glocks, but the OD green has not become a part of my tastes yet.
