    Taurus PT145SS

Based on all the positive reviews I've read here, I purchased one
yesterday. It feels great in the hand, shoots as well as expected
and conceals great even under a t-shirt.

I love my Beagle, but it's just too damn heavy.

Congrats. I really like the PT145 also. It's perfect for CC.

I just got a pt145 as well. I wish i would have waited for the 24/7 pro comp for the 12 rnd cap. but hey, its still nice. Ive been wondering if one of the 24/7 pro compact 12 rnd mags will work in the pt145. Anyone know?

    Had one

I had a PT145SS for 3 years and loved. The only reason I no longer have it is I let my wife shoot it and she promptly told me that she was now claiming it and i had to go buy another .45 for myself.

I have a PT140ss Mil Pro and carry it all the time. Feels good in hand, accurate and goes bang when it's supposed to. I think you will be happy with the PT145.

ive had a pt745 Mill Pro. Just like the 145 but with slimmer grip. Its always 100% up until around 150 rounds at the range. Its begins to get dirty and has a few FTF. But, its always 100% when clean. Could not believe how soft it shot to be so light and thin. Taurus has crappy mags. Thin gage blued steel. If they would invest in thicker gage stainless mags I believe it would help reliability of their product. At the time, I wanted a safety. Nowadays Im sure I would go with the Glock36 or the PM45. For the money, the pt145 is a good buy.
Be careful what you wish for. You just might get it ......

Never tried a PT 145, but I have shot a 24/7 at the range and I was surprised at how smooth and easy the trigger was. It was pretty accurate too.

Ok, all you have to do is take the front sight and use a grinder or other tool to file the front sight down to the middle of the white dot. Be careful to keep the gun even so you don't get a hump in the sight, go slow too, once you grind a piece off it's gone forever, take your time.
