Just cant say enough about my XD9SC

Probably 6 or 700 rounds thru it. Zero problems. For a 3" barrel, and my pinky hanging in the breeze, accuracy is amazing. Will eat anything its fed. I tried the mag extention, but concealability suffers. I carry it in a Sidegaurd slide OWB.
Be careful what you wish for. You just might get it ......

I have the XD40SC have about the same amount through it also, no problems and more accurate than I am. I carry it with two 9 rnd mags, one in the gun. I put Pearce Grips mag extension (Springfield Armory XD Series) and I can now get all my fingers on the grip frame. I bought them at Cheaper than dirt for about ten dollars each I think.

Ive been thinking of trying a XD.40SC. Like the looks of em. Havent shot one yet. I was alittle concerned about the grip safety. Is there ever a chance you could not get that safety pressed completly especially drawing quickly???

No. It has little to no resistance. I have gripped my XD45 with just my thumb and trigger finger wrapped around it and fired the entire mag without a hiccup. I don't recommend doing that, I was demonstrating that you could for an instructor that wanted to set some of his students minds at ease that a handgun will not come flying out of your hand if you don't grip it like you're hanging from a rope over a ravine.
