Slide Release (1911)
Ok, all of my polymers can be released by pulling on the slide and letting it go forward, without touching the slide release... However, my Kimber Raptor (government model, 5") will not do it... The 4" variant though... WILL release that way. I have looked at them and cannot see a functional difference that allows the 4" slide release to fall down when the slide pressure is released by pulling back on the slide...
Can anyone explain to me what the difference is, and do all other models do it?
EDIT: Someone figured it out for me over on 1911.com. It is because I have a shok buff in it. Who would have thought that would change the release?
