Well I hit the gun show this weekend and found some factory colt grips for my cobra. They are a little beat up but I got them cheap and really like em just thought I'd share with you guys. Also in the pictures is a surefire light my brother gave me and the colt's Kramer pocket holster. I showed this gun to friend of mine tonight and she said it "looked mean and like it was built for a purpose". I guess it is a business like looking gun,what do you guys think?

That Revolver doesn't look mean, it looks comforting to this wheelgunner. I started on wheelies years ago, and my first duty gun was a revolver. I'd gladly carry it today if I could.
I always have a soft spot for a good revolver, and it looks like you have one. Treat it well and it will get you through the night.

Hey, you can buy a special file at Brownell's to beautifully "point up" those checkered diamonds by hand.
It is EASY to do.
A No. 131 Checkering Riffler is $29.00 at Brownell's.
That is the only tool you need to hand point up those checkered grips.
You really cannot mess up and then as a final step - you can brush just a few drops of Linseed Oil onto those grips with a stiff little artists brush to toughen up the diamonds and bring out the grain patterning.
A nice easy project.
