    Need info on a Glock

Found a G36 for $539 and it seems to be exactly what I'm looking for in a CC firearm. Small with plenty of punch. Question is: What is the skinny on unsupported or supported chamber? Will it shoot +P Corbon without destroying it?

I don't think you have to worry about the chamber at all in a G36. The .45 is such a low pressure cartridge, even in its +P incarnation, that there really isn't any cause for concern.

That's a good price for a new one. I like mine.

You will be ok shooting +P in it.

That 36 is very nice, and will handle your +p no problem. The 45 Glocks are very accurate. I personally think I would go for the 30. Thats just my taste though.

Great pistol. Nice and slim for a Glock and easy to conceal. Not even too uncomfortable if you have to wear it against bare skin. Mine is plenty accurate and digests +P rounds regularly.

Smile politely when people warn you about the unsupported chamber. Nod, thank them for the advice, and say something "Oh my GOSH, really???". Then go shoot the Hell out of your gun. It'll take +P and hotter without a problem.

I have +p+ in my G19. I shot 50 rounds through it just to make sure it could handle it. I put a new guided rod spring in it after that and only use the +p+ for carry.

I actually have two model 36s. Both have been 100% reliable, and the 36 is my favorite carry gun. I know of no other .45 cal handgun that compares in terms of lightness, slimness, sight radious, barrel length, concealability etc. As you can tell, it is my favorite Glock.

The G36 at $539 is a pretty good deal right now. You will not be disappointed.

Well I left the Retailer and a G36 with night sights came home with me. Couldn't pass up buying it the way I wanted it. I also picked up the Wife's favorite round in her XDc .45,(Yep she carries a .45) .45+P 165gr Cobon. Also picked up the last box of 230gr Practice Ammo. OTD for $738 including taxes.

I did an extensive search here in west central Fl and I had to get one for $580.00 out the door.
Yours sounds like a great deal. I saw one for as much as $680.00 I thought it was a misprint.
Now if I could only find ammo, I would shoot it more. I only have like 350 rounds thru it.
I have since took off the pearce +1 and went with a +0, I didn't like the gap at the bottom. Felt funny, like not funny haha but like funny strange. I ain't no fan of no funny strange.
