Micro Desert Eagle - 1st time to range

Well, I finally found some target ammo to try out the MDE that I recently acquired. I have very large hands and wow, it really pops my hand, after only 30 rounds I could tell I was a bit bruised, and with my long fingers the trigger pull was killer too( I was seriously considering pulling the trigger with my index finger past the first knuckle, becuase it began to bother me, but I didnt try it). I do have to say, its a pretty sweet little gun, and I think I may have made things worse because I was gripping it so tight( I cant quite get 2 fingers on the little beast.) I havent fired the keltec or lcp, but I assume they would feel similar.
I understand that its not a range gun, but I will say that it was somewhat fun to shoot ( I think my hand may need to recover lol), feels very well made, and its very accurate, at least up to 7 yards. I had no jams or problems while I was there.

On another note, has anyone ever bought a K&D holster? I am looking for holsters and their 2in1 pocket defender looks kinda nice. thanks

Congrats on your new MDE AND finding .380 ammo, sort of like finding gold right now.
    God bless our troops!

Like all small CCW handguns they are made to be carried often and shot little. Most are not fun at the range and are challenging to grip, shoot accurately and master for some. Get some additional practice with it to gain confidence and find some reliable defensive ammo and shoot something else for fun.

I am curious if you found a holster for the MDE. I ordered a pocket holster as well as a IWB holster but find that the gun is almost too small to grab!

How do you carry this gun? Where? Have you found a holster to fit the MDE?

    Thumbs up

I saw one of these a few weeks back and I told the guy, "that’s one weird-ass looking gun". But then again, I get similar comments about my HK P7. Anyway, despite its diminutive size, it is seemingly well made. I'm afraid it wouldn't fair well in my hand, although I have considered a some other mouse-trap as my BUG.

    Nice looking mouse gun!
Shooting these little guys (like my KelTec .380) is not a lot of fun. As long as they have proven themselves to always go bang...good enough.

It's not supposed to be a range gun anyway...it's an up close and in your eye weapon.
