New shoes for my Snubnose (pic)

I have been searching for the perfect grips (my opinion only) for my little 642 for months now, checking auctions, grips sites and Esmeralda daily really not knowing exactly what I was looking for but knew I would know them when I saw them. I finally saw them on Esmeralda's site and hit "Buy" without even looking at the price (almost). In my mind's eye they are perfect. I usually carry a Dan Wesson CBOB, Glock 30sf, or .40 cal G27 but you just can't beat the little S&W when it comes to comfort. I wouldn't take $1000 for it if it meant I couldn't get another just like it. Anyway here's the new shoes, Rosewood Picassa (I think).

I thought I saw those about 3-weeks ago or maybe something very similar. Anyway, I already requested a set for my 642 so thanks for the nudge.

I will tomorrow, but they are almost exactly the same size and contour of the standard hard rubber grips. The standard grip checkering kind of "digs" or "rubs" my side when I'm wearing it under a t-shirt (against bare skin). I've been carrying it with the new grips for 2 days (working, mowing, watching TV and sitting here with a laptop) and haven't noticed it one bit. They very well may be perfect!

$99 + shipping ($2!)=$101. I love it when someone does really exquisite work, packs it in what could be called a gift box and ships it (immediately) for what it really costs. Her grips are usually between $89-129.

Niiiiiiiice! I think I need to check out her site. My 642 is feeling a little shabby now.

Very nice...while my model 36, "Rosie" is beautiful, your grips are much more functional.

Looks very good. I always love good looking wood grips with great grain.
