    Found a used S&W 3913TSW for $430. Should I go for it?

It is at a gun range. It was one of their rentals but it doesn't look like it has had much use. Is $430 to much? I was thinking about trading my CZ PCR for it. Good or bad dea?

YES!! GET IT!! Thats a great price on a superb single stack 9mm CCW pistol.

IMHO probably the finest CCW 9mm ever made. Good luck with your decision! Regards 18DAI.

I'm not sure about the price but I used to have a 3913 and it was a very good weapon!

You might want to Google this model to read about available of accessories and holsters...the price may be a bit high, but if I felt comfortable with the firearm, I'd go for it.

I found it on Smith & Wesson's web site with an MSRP of $916. If you like it, I say go for it.

The price is a smidge higher than what one around here sold for recently, but they are getting rare which will increase the price. Being a range gun might lower the value some depending on how much it's been used.

Are you looking for something thinner than your CZ? If so, the 3913 will certainly qualify. Not sure what you will get for your CZ in trade, though.

The 3913 has great reviews and is generally known as a reliable firearm. You'll lose some capacity from your CZ but will likely find the Smith easier to conceal. Have you shot it? Was it accurate? If you like it, it might be worth it depending on its condition.

I'd buy it because I like the 3rd generation Smiths, and the 3913 is generally considered a very good model.

But I've also heard good things about CZ. Probably two good guns. Just depends on what you want.

Any chance you could buy it outright and keep your CZ, or do you want to get rid of your CZ?

Oh, I just saw it was a TSW. They sometimes go for less than the 3913 no-TSW, especially if it has a rail. The rails don't seem to be popular. Still, that's not a bad price for a good all-metal gun.

That looks similar to the S&W CS 9 I found at a gun store in Atlanta. I found it for 349.00 and jumped on it!! I would buy it at the price you found yours at...the guys at the gun store had so many guns they were practically giving them away.

One more month and I'll have it...paying it off now as I type.

That is an excellent gun...but I dont think I would trade a PCR for it...just try and buy it if you can either way I think you will be happy.

Looks like a nice gun. I have always liked that style design of the S&W. I wouldn't mind getting a 1026 some day to play around with.
