Any Sig P6 CC folks out there?
I'm looking into picking up a surplus Sig P6 as an addition to my P239 for carry. I've read good things about them and I like the idea of sticking with the same manual of arms as my P239. My other reasons have to do with cost (they are a high value at ~$300 for a Sig) and ergos. I love my P239, but it fits my wife's hand much better than mine and a P6 is just about perfect. I know capacity is identical, but I've been comfortably with 8+1 so that doesn't bother me.
Here are my questions.
-Who here regularly conceal carries a P6?
-The grip is a little bigger on the P6, does anyone have issues with that?
-Where's a good source for extra mags?
-Does anyone have problems with rust? I'm a big fan of honest holster wear, but I can't stand rust. My guess is I'll have to oil her up often.

I got one a while back and I love it. I don't have my CHL yet but I can conceal it fairly easily under a tee shirt and a loose outer shirt. I carry it in a high ride OWB holster that I made. (see avitar) I carry it around home all the time and have had no trouble with rust yet. I like the fact that it is small enough to conceal yet it is big enough to get a full grip on it and feel like you are carrying something substantial. If you already own a Sig you know they are quality weapons. I think you will be pleased with it. Trigger pull is long and heavy on DA due to the heavy spring used by law enforcement but can be replaced with a lighter one if you want.

Some of them don't feed JHP but feed FMJ ok,I worked on the feed ramp and mine feeds everything now without a hiccup.I carry a 45 acp for CHL but enjoy firing my P6 at the range and in a pinch would have no problem using it for backup or primary. One downside is magazine availability,I have heard that after market magazines may or may not feed reliably

It can. I waxed the heck out of mine, it helps a bunch.
