Don't forget to post those photos.

I checked out their site. Didn't see any prices posted.

When you talk to them tell them there is one "typo" on their site.
It reads Click to view or gallery...should be "our" gallery.

Lookin' forward to seeing those pics of your firearm.

    I live in Marlborough.

Shop is Located on Spring street (off queen). Small Custom shop with an outstanding reputation. They did a Nickle Teflon Slide on a Walther PPS for me a few years ago.

The shop is always busy! They have more modded guns in stock than I have seen in one place ever. The also tend to get Stag Arms AR's quite often which are hard to find of late in our area anyway.

It is the ultimate toy store for modding just about any gun.

Tell John and Jody Todd send ya!

This will be a truely customized Defender that probably wont be able to recognized as such except for the 3" barrel which remain original but modded of course.

    ONLY HINT..

.... SNIPER GRAY CERECOTE w/HIGHLY POLISHED NICKLE TEFLON (SLICKSHOT) BARREL that you will see from the modded slide ala race gun!

Thats just the tip of the iceberg! LOL!!!!!

Everything is ala cart pretty much. My custom work was more then the gun if that helps.

I had Jody do work on a 686 for me twenty years ago.....he was quite young and already EXTREMELY talented. I still have that 686 and it is the slickest action I've felt on a stainless DA revolver.

Back then, it was called "Joseph's" or something and they were in New Britain.

Yep thats them. They moved the business to southington a few years ago and their clients are growing rapidly. Jody's Gunsmithing skills are amazing and depending on the work can be quite a wait but well worth it.

Jody told me today that this piece will be on their Web Site and is gonna blow me away. (Bad choice of words!) LOL!

Update your RAM because I will be posting pics from every angle!

I'm sorry! SO EXCITED!!!! My first 1911! (except a Kimber Raptor I owned and returned not reliable FTF's all the time!)

I would love suggestions on a holster for concealed carry. No IWB please!

very cool....I thought that might be them. I had Googled "Joseph" or something similar a little while back. When this shop came up, I thought that might be Jody.

Holy cow, when he worked on my gun, he must have only been in his early 20's. Thanks for posting this thread........I'll have to visit his shop.

I swung by their shop tonight. It is in the back of the buildings. I took the address off Their website. Thank You.

I will swing in there when I am passing the next day.

    LOL!

Hey, you're like a kid just before Christmas! One of the best feelings in the world!

I hope it is just as fine as you are imagining it will be. We are all anticipating those pictures.

Stopped by to check out the Defender "pre-CEREKOTE" All I can say is OMG!!!

Jody really exceeded all my expectations! I can not wait to see it after the bead blast and coatings. It's got the melt treatment but not overly done where you lose all the lines of the gun. (oops I'm leaking) LOL!

Just waiting for the custom Novak Tritium's and I should be at the range by Thursday!

    More to come...........
